A dance for a woman that inspires you

Create a dance for a woman that inspires you

Watch the task video introduced by Scottish Dance Theatre Guest Dancer Solène Weinachter:

Instructions for task:

In this task, we invite you to create a short dance for a woman that has inspired you in your life. It could be someone in your family, like a sister, a grandma or an auntie, a friend, a public figure, or even a fictional character like Antigone.

You can move in any way you like, telling a story with your movement, or maybe it’s more about a feeling or a memory…

You can upload a video or a photograph of your dance and tell us about the woman that inspired it below.

If you prefer, you can write to us at
“Where are you, Dundee?”
Dundee Rep, Tay Square, DD1 1PB, Dundee

Or give us a call and tell us about a woman that has inspired you between 1pm-5pm on Tuesday when our phone line is open.
Thank you so much.
